If the patient does not present with ovulatory cycles at three months after ovarian drilling, then the procedure should be combined with CC treatment. The use of gonadotropins should be considered after 6 months of anovulatory cycles following the ovarian drilling procedure. Ovarian drilling should not be indicated as a treatment for menstrual irregularity, metabolic complications or hyperandrogenism in PCOS 29.

i would suggest researching a bit online. but from my experience working in treatment centers yes, meth has foul chemicals. when they first come in and are detoxing from it addicts smell like chemical and ammonia. there are so many foul and unnatural things in it it reeks havoc on the human body. i know she mentioned crack but i don't think we have any real proof luna has ever used meth.
Following the electronic and manual searches of bibliographies, forty six clinical studies were identified for inclusion/exclusion assessment (Figure 1). A pre-requisite for the inclusion of clinical studies was identified laboratory evidence explaining the mechanism of effect in reproductive endocrinology. Fifteen met the inclusion criteria [54–68]. Eight were randomised controlled trials (RCTs) including 762 women [61–68] (Table 2). Thirty one studies were excluded for the following reasons; investigation of isolated herbal chemicals (n = 3); inclusion of male subjects (n = 4); no pre-clinical evidence (n = 11) and conditions different to those specified (n = 13).

Combination birth control pills: Oral contraceptives (OCs) containing estrogen plus progestin help you manage PCOS symptoms by normalizing your menstrual cycle. By reducing levels of male hormones, OCs can help control excess hair growth and acne, too. You’ll usually shed the lining of your uterus every 28 days while taking an oral contraceptive, which also reduces your risk for endometrial cancer. Oral contraceptive pills are sometimes prescribed for women before they begin fertility treatment because these female hormones reduce the “male” androgen levels. But it’s important to know that they won’t help restore ovulation.19
You just found out you have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Now what? The condition, which affects five million women in the U.S. alone, can wreak havoc on your hormones and still doesn’t have a known cure. While many women successfully manage their symptoms solely with medication and hormone therapy, some prefer to supplement traditional treatments with more holistic remedies, while some opt for entirely natural alternatives.
Our leading System is designed to guide you as you transform your overall health and heal your PCOS symptoms. With our proprietary 5-Element System, you CAN reverse your symptoms, including: period problems, weight gain, infertility, acne, insulin resistance and blood sugar issues, thinning hair, facial and body hair growth, fatigue, diminished sex drive, acne and skin tags, and mood swings no matter what your age.
A stroll around the block with your dog (spouse/significant other, neighbor, or exercise buddy), your favorite exercise class at the gym, following a video at home, or peddling on an exercise bike while you watch TV…whatever you choose to get you moving will be good.14 Aim to fit in at least 30 minutes, five times a week – the basic recommendations from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.15
Sperm capacitation must be evaluated to perform the low-complexity treatment (semen evaluation after preparation to estimate the number of sperm with progressive motility, which includes those that theoretically have the ability to ascend the female reproductive tract in vivo and fertilize the egg in the fallopian tube). Thus, the semen is centrifuged and the concentration of capacitated sperm recovered is measured as follows: >10 million recovered motile sperms (any infertility treatment is viable); >5 million (IUI, in vitro fertilization (IVF) or intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) may be performed); between 1 and 5 million (IVF or ICSI may be performed); and <1 million (only ICSI can be performed) 27,28. It is worth noting that if the patient presents with bilateral tubal occlusion in the initial assessment, sperm capacitation is only performed to evaluate the possibility of performing IVF or ICSI 8.
Two important things to note are that the long term safety effects of use are not known (but the drug has been in use for decades already) and spironolactone IS NOT SAFE in pregnancy, so it is commonly used in conjunction with birth control pills. This use of birth control pills also protects against abnormal growth of the lining of the uterus. Some women cannot take birth control pills, in which case it is important to use other means of birth control if you are sexually active while taking spironolactone.
Metformin has been the mainstay of treatment for IR and IGT in PCOS women over the past decade. Metformin is a biguanide that acts principally on the liver to inhibit hepatic gluconeogenesis. It also inhibits acetyl-CoA carboxylase activity and suppresses fatty acid production. Metformin acts on skeletal muscle to inhibit lipid production and acts peripherally on adipose tissue to stimulate glucose transport and uptake. Metformin reduces insulin levels and promotes improved insulin receptor activity[64]. Metformin may also have direct and indirect effects on the ovary with respect to insulin action and steroidogenic enzymatic activity. In the endothelium, metformin seems to improve nitric oxide vasodilatory effects. Many other mechanisms of action have been studied in both animal and human models but consistent effects are not always demonstrated with local tissue concentrations that result from therapeutic doses[65].
Oral contraceptives (birth control pills) contain a combination of hormones (estrogen and progesterone). Used properly, oral contraceptives can ensure that women with PCOS menstruate every four weeks. This, in turn, lowers the risk of endometrial cancer, which is higher in women with PCOS because they do not menstruate regularly and properly shed the endometrial lining.
Anecdotally, oral contraceptives are among the most common agents used to treat menstrual irregularities in women with PCOS. However, there are few studies examining their effect on menstrual cycles in women with PCOS. Cyproterone acetate plus ethinyl estradiol has been extensively studied, but it is not available in the United States. Studies suggest that the following agents may improve menstrual irregularities (e.g., oligomenorrhea): spironolactone (in an open-label study),22 acarbose,24 rosigli-tazone,32 and metformin.10,11,32,47,51 Metformin is probably the best choice because it may improve insulin resistance in addition to improving menstrual irregularities.
“We were surprised to find that menstrual abnormalities in women with PCOS was the strongest predictor for mental health issues, particularly when there are so many other symptoms—like beard growth and infertility—that can make a woman feel unfeminine,” says senior author Nancy Reame, the Mary Dickey Lindsay Professor of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion at Columbia Nursing. “The study findings suggest that we can’t treat PCOS effectively unless we pay close attention to any signs of mental distress.”
A surgery called ovarian drilling might make your ovaries work better when ovulation medications don't, but it's being done less often than it used to. The doctor makes a small cut in your belly and uses a tool called a laparoscope with a needle to poke your ovary and wreck a small part of it. The procedure changes your hormone levels and may make it easier for you to ovulate.

A secondary analysis of two randomized, double blind, placebo-controlled trials that included 182 children of mothers with PCOS reported that children exposed to metformin had higher BMI and increased prevalence of overweight/obesity at 4 years of age. The study found that at 4 years of age, the metformin group had higher weight z-score than the placebo group; difference in means 0.38 (0.07 to 0.69), p=0.017, and higher BMI z-score; difference in means 0.45 (0.11 to 0.78), p=0.010. There were also more overweight/obese children in the metformin group; 26 (32%) than in the placebo group; 14 (18%) at 4 years of age; odds ratio (95% CI): 2.17 (1.04 to 4.61), p=0.038. More studies are needed to examine this association. [94]

That pic in the last thread with her collarbones made me laugh so much. Bitch has her arms bent at an awkward angle behind her back you can see where the neck squashes awkwardly on her shoulder because of the abnormal way shes twisting and sticking her neck out. Imagine being a fly on the wall at hers (one of the many) and seeing her take a selfie like that kek

Methadone is said to not get people "high," but I beg to differ. It doesn't give any of the euphoria that heroin does, nor the rush, but it definitely has a body high to it. I've never taken a dose of methadone over 30mg (which is a typical maintenance dose, btw) and got so high off that I couldn't walk straight. Mentally I was nearly clear though. Maybe Lurch likes feeling physically retarded and it takes him 130mg to get there? Who knows.
Increasing evidence in animal models and in humans shows that sympathetic nerve activity controls ovarian androgen biosynthesis and follicular development. Thus, sympathetic nerve activity participates in the follicular development and the hyperandrogenism characteristics of polycystic ovary syndrome, which is the most prevalent ovarian pathology in women during their reproductive years. In this study, we mimic sympathetic nerve activity in the rat via "in vivo" stimulation with isoproterenol (ISO), a β-adrenergic receptor agonist, and test for the development of the polycystic ovary condition. We also determine whether this effect can be reversed by the administration of propranolol (PROP), a β-adrenergic receptor antagonist. Rats were treated for 10 days with 125 μg/kg ISO or with ISO plus 5 mg/kg PROP. The ovaries were examined 1 day or 30 days following drug treatment. While ISO was present, the ovaries had an increased capacity to secrete androgens; ISO + PROP reversed this effect on androgen secretory activity. 30 days after treatment, androstenedione secretion reverted to normal levels, but an increase in the intra-ovarian nerve growth factor (NGF) concentration and luteinizing hormone (LH) plasma levels was detected. ISO treatment resulted in follicular development characterized by an increased number of pre-cystic and cystic ovarian follicles; this was reversed in the ISO + PROP group. The lack of change in the plasma levels of progesterone, androstenedione, testosterone, or estradiol and the increased LH plasma levels strongly suggests a local intra-ovarian effect of ISO indicating that β-adrenergic stimulation is a definitive component in the rat polycystic ovary condition.

Pre-clinical and clinical evidence was found for Vitex agnus-castus for lowered prolactin, improved menstrual regularity and treatment of infertility. Vitex agnus-castus contains a variety of compounds which bind to dopamine type 2 (DA-2) receptors in the brain; reduce cyclic adenosine mono phosphate (cAMP) and lowered prolactin secretion (Table 1). This was demonstrated in studies using recombinant DA-2 receptor proteins, and basal and stimulated rat pituitary cell cultures [38–41]. Prolactin lowering effects were found in normal and ovariectomised rats [49]. Additional agonistic opiate effects were observed in studies using human opiate receptors cell cultures [70].

Combination birth control pills — those with estrogen and Prometrium (progesterone) — are frequently prescribed to women with PCOS not looking to get pregnant. If the main concern is irregular periods and the resulting potential health risks, this is a great option. “Birth control pills are very good for protecting the lining of the uterus in women who are chronically anovulatory,” says Dunaif.
Cushing's syndrome, sometimes referred to as hypercortisolism, is a hormonal disorder caused by prolonged exposure to high levels of the hormone cortisol. Symptoms may include obesity, thinning arms and legs, a rounded face, and increased fat around the neck. Some causes of Cushing's syndrome is from taking glucocorticoid hormones such as prednisone for inflammatory diseases. Treatment for Cushing's syndrome depends on the cause.

Ask your health care provider about a weight loss plan if you are overweight. If you’re overweight, losing weight may lessen some of the symptoms of PCOS. Talk to your health care provider or nutritionist about healthy ways to lose weight such as exercising more and following a nutrition plan that helps manage insulin levels. Healthy eating can also keep your heart healthy and lower your risk of developing diabetes.

The PCOS diagnosis is generally made through clinical signs and symptoms. The doctor will want to exclude other illnesses that have similar features, such as low thyroid hormone blood levels (hypothyroidism) or elevated levels of a milk-producing hormone (prolactin). Also, tumors of the ovary or adrenal glands can produce elevated male hormone (androgen) blood levels that cause acne or excess hair growth, thus mimicking the symptoms of PCOS.
A malfunction of the body's blood sugar control system (insulin system) is frequent in women with PCOS, who often have insulin resistance and elevated blood insulin levels. Researchers believe that these abnormalities may be related to the development of PCOS. It is also known that the ovaries of women with PCOS produce excess amounts of male hormones known as androgens. This excessive production of male hormones may be a result of or related to the abnormalities in insulin production.
Smoking cigarettes indoors can make things VERY grimy. I didn't think of that but yeah, maybe the cats don't like to lick the tar off their fur. I grew up with two indoor chain smokers for parents, and no matter how often I cleaned/dusted, my shit would look like this >>411657 all the damn time. It's like the tar just attracts every piece of dust. The walls, any white clothing, etc. all turned yellow. And everything I had always stank to the point that people assumed I smoked when I didn't. Smoking indoors is absolutely disgusting.
Other excluded studies investigated the herbal medicines included in this review examining conditions other than PCOS, oligo/amenorrhoea and hyperandrogenism. These included investigations into effectiveness for Vitex agnus-castus for pre-menstrual syndrome [92–97] and mastalgia [98, 99], Cimicifuga racemosa for menopausal symptoms [100] and Glycyrrhiza spp with Paeonia lactiflora libido in males [101].
Medications for PCOS include oral contraceptives and metformin. The oral contraceptives increase sex hormone binding globulin production, which increases binding of free testosterone. This reduces the symptoms of hirsutism caused by high testosterone and regulates return to normal menstrual periods. Metformin is a medication commonly used in type 2 diabetes mellitus to reduce insulin resistance, and is used off label (in the UK, US, AU and EU) to treat insulin resistance seen in PCOS. In many cases, metformin also supports ovarian function and return to normal ovulation.[74][78] Spironolactone can be used for its antiandrogenic effects, and the topical cream eflornithine can be used to reduce facial hair. A newer insulin resistance medication class, the thiazolidinediones (glitazones), have shown equivalent efficacy to metformin, but metformin has a more favorable side effect profile.[79][80] The United Kingdom's National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence recommended in 2004 that women with PCOS and a body mass index above 25 be given metformin when other therapy has failed to produce results.[81][82] Metformin may not be effective in every type of PCOS, and therefore there is some disagreement about whether it should be used as a general first line therapy.[83] The use of statins in the management of underlying metabolic syndrome remains unclear.[84]
